Clark Little - Permanent Exhibition!!!

Clark Little's work is on permanent exhibition at Mountainsong Galleries. In addition to his spectacular works, Clark's book and many prints are also available in the gallery. Clark has gained national and international recognition for his North Shore shorebreak wave photography with appearances on television shows Good Morning America, Inside Edition, The Today Show, and ABC World News Now. Clark's work has been featured in publications worldwide including National Geographic, Nikon World, Sierra, Paris Match, La Vie, Nature's Best Photography, Rangefinder, Geo, Surfer's Journal among others. In November 2009, Clark published his first shorebreak photography book entitled, The Shorebreak Art of Clark Little.

The Otter Project Fund Raiser

The Otter Project, Mountainsong Galleries and LeAnna Tuff have teamed up to help otters by offering you exquisite paintings of otters by a very accomplished artist and 30% of all proceeds will go to The Otter Project. LeAnna Tuff is a local Carmel-by-the-Sea artist. She is also a very accomplished artist. LeAnna studied with Sylvia Rogers on Cannery Row and the very famous artist, Daniel Greene, who is considered the foremost pastelist in the United States by Encyclopedia Britannica and whose paintings are now in the Smithsonian. LeAnna taught art in Vienna, Austria for several years and specializes in pastels of animals and people. LeAnna is a featured artist at Mountainsong Galleries on Ocean Avenue in Carmel.

Come Watch Tomiko Bailey Paint Outside Mountainsong Galleries!!!

Tomiko Bailey, a longstanding featured artist at Mountainsong Galleries, will be painting in the courtyard in front of the Gallery on Sunday, May 16 during the afternoon. Tomiko was selected to participate in the Carmel Art Festival this year for the THIRD YEAR IN A ROW. The competition this year was quite intense and this is a great honor for Tomiko. Carmel Mission Foundation Fund Raiser

The Carmel Mission Foundation was formed to fund the conservation and preservation of the historical properties and artifacts of the Carmel Mission (Mission San Carlos Borromeo Del Rio Carmel) located in Carmel, California. The Mission is part of the National Registry of Historic Places, a U.S. National Landmark and a California State Landmark. It is a significant part of California’s heritage. Please join us for this important fund raiser at Mountainsong Galleries on Saturday, May 1 from 5:00 - 7:00. Thirty percent of ALL proceeds from the sale of ANY art will be donated to the Carmel Mission Foundation. Wine and appetizers will be served.

Christmas Music Evening

Area operatic baritone Peter Tuff will be accompanied by pianist Lucy Faridany in a selection of Christmas favorites at Mountainsong Galleries on Ocean Avenue from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. While living in Vienna, Austria, Peter was a member of the Vienna State Opera and also performed often at the Salzburg Festival. He is currently the Director of Operations of the Monterey Symphony. The Otter Zone

"The Otter Zone: Sea Otters in their habitat" is a month-long multi-media art exhibit honoring sea otters and their environment in honor of Sea Otter Awareness Week.
